Riveting of the foreward top skin continued. I riveted the skin to the firewall along with the cowl attach hinge and spacers. I hoped to do this with the squeezer but the hinge interfered so all rivets were set using the rivet gun and bucking bar. The firewall rivets, panel frame rivets, rib rivets and some of the side rivets were set. There are a few more side rivets that I should be able to set myself but I had to come up with a way to move the headset wiring conduit, which I think I came up with tonight. The remaining rivets will require a helper.
The roll bar support was bolted into place.
With the top cowl attach hinges in place I positioned the top cowl and taped to down to the fueslage and lower cow, maked them for rivet loactions and began drilling them. A bit of a slow go as the is no way to support the hinge from behind so drilling happens slowly.
