Brief Description:

Didn't get a lot done today but took a long lunch and flew down to Carthage, NC to have lunch at the Pik-N-Pig barbecue. It was a bumpy ride and chalenging take offs and landing with winds gusting to the high 20's but the barbecue was quite good.

Back at the hangar I used copper buss bar to make the conductor attaching the master and starter solenoids. Took 2 tries to get it right, as the tolerances are very tight.

I attached the rudder cable fairings I got from Avery Tool. These were drilled, then drilled to the fuselage, dimpled and countersunk and then riveted in place. Next I began running the rudder cables through the fuselage, but discovered that the end clevis will not fit through the specified snap bushing when the bushing in in the bulkhead, so it is a slow go to remove each bushing, thread the cable through and then reinstall the bushing.
