Laid out rivet locations for the center forward deck rib. Drilled holes. Clamped to forawd deck and firewall using top skin to reference proper location. Match drilled firewall to rib. Match drilled center rib angle to rib. Removed angle and deburred.
I set the two rivets holding the aft fuselage stiffener web to the top of the 707 bulkhead. This had to be done after the top skins were riveted on and I forgot to set them last time I was crawling around in the tail cone.
Dried the end fittings to the elevator pushrod tube.
Assembled the elevators to the horizontal stabilizer and drilled the elevator horns for the pushrod bolt. Removed elevators.
Positioned horizontal stabilizer on the fuselage and squared using multiple measurements, then drillled to fuselage. Fabricated spacers.
