Brief Description:  Left wing bottom skins

Today I continued work on the bottom skins of the left wing, though I took an hour this morning to exercise the Decatholn and then gave it a much needed bath in the late morning. It was really hot again today and washing an airplane seemed a reasonable way to be less hot.

Anyway, I continued to rivet the outboard bottom skin on the left wing, but reached a point that I could not go further with the wing in the cradle. I needed fuel for the Decathlon so when the fuel guy came I had him help me move the wing to the work bench. Using a line I was able to pull back the skin and get to the ribs and spar and continue riveting. I actaully think this was a bit easier than the work I did while the wing was in the cradle so the right wing may start on the bench.

I completed the hardest bay, and now have only the two outer bays to complete on the left wing. The 95 degree heat required an early quit again today. Back to it next week!!
