Brief Description:  Tank leak test, Flaps

Today I tested the tank noses (back bafle not yet installed) for leaks by placing them in the build cradle and filling them with water. Each turnd out to be completely dry so after draining them I left them in the sun to dry and will plan to close them up tomorrow by installing the rear baffles. It is really exciting to get the tanks almost done!!

Most of the day was spent with the flaps. I continued the initial assembly process, mounted top and bottom skins with clecos and match drilled all holes. I also fabricated Actuator attach angles from angle stock, drilled them as required and bemt the actuator reinforcement plate to the appropriate angle. The flap components are now ready for diassembly and deburr, dimple and countersink.
