After installing access coers in the tanks I moved to other unfinished wing components. The aileron pushrods were cut to length and then the cut ends were deburred using Scotch-Brite wheels on the grinder. I then used the drill press and a fine file to redue the pushrod ends to the smaller steel pushrods so they would fit inside the rods. This worked very well. Then I used rattle can primer to spray the inside of each pushrod tube with primer.
Next I began work on the flaps. The flap spars were deburred, then I assembled the spars, ribs and bottom skins with clecos to match drill. At this point the torrential rains we had been having for a few hours let up some so I took the opportunity to leave.
