Brief Description:  Tech Counselor, Rudder work

Has an EAA Tech Counselor come by the hangar this afternoon. He took a look ay my hangar/workshop, looked at the work I have completed and talked for a bit. He was pleased with the work I had done and was very encouraging. Nice to hear from someone who knows that I am on the right track. It was a beautiful evening, so I also took an hour out to fly the Decathlon. Perfect evening. No wind, smooth air, beautiful sky. I did get some work done too. All holes were final/match drillled, rudder horn brace formed and fitted, rudder bottom attachment strips fabricated and fitted, then everything disassembled. I deburred the edges and holes in all the skeleton parts, and brought the ribs home for cleaning and the counterweight and horn home for cleaning and priming. A good day, but no pictures.
