Brief Description:  I am not going to take it any more!

Ever since I put in the "Fuselage mid brace" as Vans calls it, I have cussed it. I originally could lie UNDER it to get things done in the back, but as soon as you put the wings on, the main spars take up the room you need, and if you were skinny enough, it would be mighty uncomfortable. The process of folding myself up and transporting myself into the baggage compartment was so painful I could only stay in there for maybe 10 minutes until I was in terrible pain and then had to find a way to unfold myself and get out. ALWAYS I had a phone with me to call 911 if needed.
A friend had already solved the problem, Joe guided me into the first steps of making that bar removeable. You can see the process here:

I think you might have to copy and paste it into your browser to see the whole system I am copying. It may take a week or so to get it all done, but TOMORROW the darned thing gets sawed out of there!
I am scheduled for transition training and a BFR on the 12-15 Feb timeframe, so will definitly see if it will fly in February!! I have always wanted to be a test pilot, now I get to cross that off my bucket lis as wellt.
