I did some travel while cooling off from my failed AW inspection, this is a cousin of my wife, who was a WASP in WWII! She is still very young at heart and ready to go for an airplane ride at the drop of a hat! I have lots of admiration for these ladies, and in fact am going to Sweetwater Texas later this month to a banquet to celebrate them at their training base there, and is now a museum. These ladies got the short end of the stick, they were not initially even afforded Veteran status, and recently were denied burial in Arlington cemetary! I think we about have that burual policy reversed now. We were actually standing upright, but this new windows 10 does not seem to allow me to put lthe photo on here right side up; The first two photos are of the gold medal they were personally awarded just recently.
