Well it has been a while since I posted, but have been very busy with little stuff in preparation for the DAR visit later this month. This visit will hopefully result in the FAA approving of my construction and officially making this pile of parts an AIRPLANE! This results in the issuance of an important piece of paper called a "US Airworthiness Certificate!"
Photo one is the new thermostat housing modification that will allow a Chevrolet 350 thermostat to be used, and giving better flow thru the thermostat we think.
I had not taken the protective covers from the windows and canopy, so it was time to do that. After over 5 years of that protective stuff being glued on, it took a lot of goo gone to clean it up. Sure looks nice now twith all that visibility.
