"The heater as originally envisioned did not use a cutoff. We were assured that one was not necessary, but users quickly found out it put out a lot of heat even with no blower going. In my case, it is located directly under a fan that exhausts air from behind the panel, and will blow heat on my legs - ALLTHE TIME!! A bit crude perhaps, but it means one must stop and pull the cowling in order to change it from off to on. I don't see that happening all that often."
