Brief Description:  Progress: Lack of or Actually Happening

"I have not been posting much lately, several reasons. First off of course I worked up to the need for the engine and avionics, and they both were held up for various reasons. I had a backlog of other projects that needed attention, so have been working on them. First off I bought a hangar, and it had to be renovated and prepared for moving the RV12 there soon, that enltailed getting electricity hooked up, dealing with several permits and getting permission. Got that done, I have electricity in the hangar. Another project needed to be dealt with, that was finishing the trailer that will haul the airplane to the hangar. A properly modified Harbor Freight trailer will do just fine, but you have to put the darned thing together first, them make the mods; Work is progressing on it very well.
Best news of all, my engine should be shipped next Monday, the 23rd of Jan! Avionics should be coming right after that. In short order I will need to be moving the entire project to the airport for finishing.
I COULD have gone to Sebring for the Light Sport Expo, my friend Ron Russ with the only flying RV12 with the Viking engine flew down, here is a link to see him bragging about the plane:
