Brief Description:  The End of an Era (or the start of a new one)

My project has definitely taken a turn in directions. I was working against the dozens of little things that my aging body would not tolerate, or that I needed two hands to accomplish. My son had noticed this, and decided to travel here from the other end of the country for a couple of weeks for the express purpose of helping me over those hurdles.
Now for many that would not be a big deal or much help, but my son has an uncanny ability to analyze a mechanical situation, and resolve it, coupled with a "can do" attitude that gets things done!
The two weeks were spent primarily in the positions shown in the photos below, and I can assure you it is not comfortable or conducive to getting anything done when you DO get there.
I did however pry him out of there long enough to attend to some serious eating and playing, and also fixing several things on my recently acquired Classic Mercedes Turbodiesel. We did get to wreck some model planes and annoy the pets with quadcopters as well.
I am now attacking the project with renewed vigor, since all those things that were on indefinite hold, now can be accomplished.without further delay!
