For those that thought I was taking a break, I was sorta. I got hospitalized for a case of Viral Pneumonia last week of all things. Anyway, back to trying to get my body conditioned for work again. Put the canopy back on to see how it looks and fits and done some final fitting and finishing on it. It is looking like something that should be a part of an aircraft and ready to be painted now. I had a heck of a time trying to figure out the geometry of the hinge bolt pivot and where to cut and sand so it would miss all the aluminum parts of the nose of the canopy fairing. I think I finally got it. Having laid that fiberglass on the panel cover it fits on sure makes for a close fit, looks really good.
