Brief Description:  More Canopy Work

Jan Eggenfellner tried to talk me into buying his ready made canopy skirt, but I am a bit strange, just got to do any challenge building an airplane presents. I sort of enjoy working with fiberglass, had a small business many years ago making saddle bags for the 750 Honda. Back in those days, accessories were just not available, so you made your own. Problem was, dozens of other CB750 owners wanted bags for theirs too, so I started cranking them out since I had made a mold. Got to the poiont I sold the molds to someone who had lots more time to spare than I did (I was on active duty with the US Army at the time.)
Anyway, I would recommend that anyone who really wants a good skirt in a hurry, buy the one from the Viking engine site. I have lots of time trying to make mine perfect, but I am getting there. There could be some discussion if you are building ELSA, but I cannot imagine any inspector complaining about the ready made part.
