Doc said I was good to go on my foot again, so went back to work. The canopy is one of those jobs that seems quick and easy when you read it, then it turns out to be more work when you get with it.
The canopy has been on and off at least a dozen times now, still tweaking its fit, want it to be perfect I guess.
Many tools have been suggested for trimming the canopy, but this is the best one I found. After this operation, I run the 3 inch die grinder disc over it to smooth it out from the somewhat wavy line the mini belt sander does on it(see photo three below).
After that I use a piece of 2x4 covered with sandpaper of smaller and smaller grit to smooth it out to a factory finish..
