Had a fun day, no work on the RV12. Carl Eldridge who makes plexiglas rear windows for the RV 12, the ones you can spill fuel on, made me one and flew it down from up north around the Houston area in his beautiful RV7A.. It is also tinted, so the fuel tank don't boil in the hot Texas sun. We had a lot of fun together, even got to work on his plane a bit. He accidentally left the strobes on and it ran the battery down while we were playing, so we jump started it with a Kia car! An RV7 just seems to be pretty much an RV12 with about twice as much horspower. The real beauty of it though is that you can fly upside down in it unlike an RV12.
