Brief Description:  Progress that don't show

There are times in construction where there is dramatic change and progress, then there are times that it seems for days you work you butt off and nothing seems any different when looking at it. This has been one of those periods.
Work on the flap mechanism, flaperon mixer, stick connection to all that, and finalizing the wiring and plumbing wires and tubes. I am about done with all that, will install the flap handle and hook up the control sticks to the aileron push tubes. Lots of very tight work, sure wish I had smaller hands, my grand daughter is home for summer vacation, I miss her small hands with fingers that are not all clunky from arthritis.
My auto pilot servos are on the way to me, I will go ahead and install and hook them up while I am down in that area working. The Dynon Skyview with its glorious functions is supposed to be announced soon, so I will still wait for that before I order the avionics kit, since when you do all the wiring etc, several have installed all the avionics in one weekend!. Engine kit will come next, but the warranty time starts when Vans buys the engine, I don't want it to sit around any longer than absolutely necessary. I am going to finish the canopy, wheel pants etc first. I have a plexiglass rear window - with tint on the way, was supposed to be made last weekend, the guy who does that is going to fly it down to me in his RV7, best way to deliver stuff!
