Brief Description:  So I have been goofing off.

I had been catching up on odds and ends while awaiting my Molex crimper to arrive. One of the projects was to make a lot of pieces that required band sawing aluminum. My little antique freebie was just not up to the task, so in frustration I went to Harbor Freight Aviation Tools Department and got a band saw. At $129 I did not expect much, but this is THE correct tool for RV12 builders! It slices thru that thickest aluminum extrusions like a hot knife thru butter, and in general is one fine bandsaw. A bandsaw is an absolute must for RV12 building.
My Molex crimper finally arrived, big disappointment! Even though it is made by Molex, it is just another of those Wal Mart cheapie terminal crimpers, NOT molex types. I ordered one from Avery tools, will be here in a couple of days. Meanwhile with the bandsaw, I can work ahead on the flaperons and fuse items that can be finished in advance of working on that specifi section.! See the pretty pieces I made today?
