Brief Description:  Bad Day at the Airplane Factory

Was a bad day, while tightening the final bolt in the final phase of the stabilator, the bolt would not snug down. It would just turn, not come in or out.
I drilled a hole in the head, twisted off the head, then drilled out the flush rivets that hold the nutplate on. I fished the bad one out of the spar, and set up a replacement by making a threaded piece of a bolt I could string a wire thru. Fished it up and into place, riveted it with flush pop rivets, then unscrewed the pilot bolt. End result, fixed what was a scary situation for a while there.
Did not get much else accomplished today.
