I could not figure why my fuel caps would not let the tab lay down like it should. Someone pointed out to me that it was because it was upside down! I did it, when installing the fuel filler neck I pulled out the tab and used a crescent wrench on it to tighten the filler. I had heard it snap but could not determine anything was broken. It had been forced beyond a stop pin, and only had to be forced back to the other side of the pin. Photo two looks much better with it the right way.
