I found I had failed to remove the protective coating on a wing tip part! Nothing else would work, it had to come off to have the blue plastic removed. Drilling out a LOT of rivets to make it happen, at last it is off and can be cleaned up. This may have given me another advantage, it is on the wing I want to add another landing light to. This will allow me much better access to the tricky operation of installing the light.
