Brief Description:  Procrastination Definitely Pays Off

"Well sometimes putting things off (a trait that I have polished to its highest levels) actually pays off. I have had my fuel tank apart three times already, and was just this morning checking inventory so when my son comes to visit I can put him to work on the last two upgrade installations. Wing tanks were available, but they were shortened for shipping which made them not acceptable for me, I was already working on some added fuel capability over the factory 20 gal, with only 15 gal useable.
My friend Dick Gossen informed me the price of the tanks had come down, but best of all they were lengthened to the full wing length! I called Jan, and he was a bit vague on total quantity, but it appears I will probably have a useable 26 gallons with them, I quickly ordered a set.
Below is a photo of one of them, as you can see they go in two lightening holes in the ribs, with a filler out at the end of the wing. This makes me feel much better than having 20 gallons in the cabin with me, to spill or burn.
I guess I will finish the tank and probably offer it for sale to someone that don't want to do wing tanks and don't want to make their own."
