Brief Description:  Slow Progress

"Messing around with small details mostly, got a panel looking almost finished now, had to mount my air/oil separator, almost mounted it down low, then found the recommendation that it should be as high as possible. Photo 2 shows my final resting place for it. Finalized the oil cooler mounting and got it into final fitting attachment, another unit out of the way.
Did a LOT of brain storming on wiring. There were always some little thing that I did not like on most of the diagrams, several of us were trying to come up with an ultimate Skyview/Viking combination, never did get it there completely. A friend drew up a wiring diagram I love, so am settled in on it at last. Probably has more than absolutely necessary, but has lots of backup systems, including a crowbar! The Crowbar is so named because in any overvoltage situation, it puts a ""crowbar"" across the circuit and pops the breaker before the overvoltage can do harm. The Skyview and associated electronics are VERY expensive, and it would seem to be pretty good insurance to protect all that with a $30 crowbar, overvoltage protection."
