"My excitement from yesterday was dimmed today, I had asked Vans to sell me one of the new Skyview kits I had been waiting months for. They answered that only the people that had bought the Rotax option would get the first 100 kits, then they would make some more and maybe sell me one! What a company, what a policy! Makes me glad that RV12 will not be part of my registration! Anyhow, gives me some more time. The procedurel is that you fill a srynge with epoxy and then go around to the 12,500 pop rivets, filling the little hole left showing. When you sand it down it makes for a smoother airflow gaining almost .0000056 knots speed increase. Mostly it makes it look like a factory built plane with pounded in rivets, fools everybody! Probably will paint over the rivets a lot better as well."
