Brief Description:  Moving Right Along

"Finished up the fuel tank upgrade from Vans, slobbered that stinky snot all over it, should not leak for sure. A little cleanup now and I can seal the tank sender plate and test for leaks. After that I can paint and install - never to be removed again I hope.
I am upgrading the fuel system over the Vans and Viking system, I will feel better with the setup in the third photo. Those red objects are 100 micron fuel filters, with pleated stainless steel filters, wash them out and keep flying if they get clogged. The silver one is the 10 micron filter with a secondary fuel pressure sender fitting. All engine compartment fuel lines will be in complliance with certificated aircraft rules, and the Skyview will support two fuel pressure sensors, so I can see if any of the three filters are beginning to get plugged long before I am on the ground in some cornfield cleaning them.."
