Brief Description: Rework Engine Control Cable brackets
- Realized my engine control cables were too short for connecting with the modified instrument switch panel I had fabricated. So, I designed and fabricated new cable brackets and planned to extend the cable tie rods.
- Then I realized that I didn't have full control stick range of motion or knee clearance with the switch panel. I refabricated a more tradtional control cable/switch panel bracket and adjusted the instrument panel layout to put the bulk of the switches on the bottom center of the instrument panel, preserving the ability to fly equally well from either seat. This also solved the problem of my engine control cables being too short :)
