Brief Description:  Intercom wiring

Spent about a dozen hours spread over the Thanksgiving Holiday weekend finishing the Intercom wiring harness. I bought the pre-made harness from Aircraft Spruce because there is a lot of shielded cable with multiple grounds. I figured since radio noise can be difficult to isolate, better to get a professionally made harness and save those labor hours. Anyway, still had to make the connections to the rest of the SkyView system. The other big labor effort was fabricating the mounting plates for the headsets. After reviewing what several other builders did, with their pros and cons, I went with placing them directly below the vents. That way they are visible and easily accessible, but they are also tucked up under the canopy rail and out of the way. In order to get this done I had to actually install the canopy vents. I had delayed that during fuselage construction as I did not know if I would have any wiring to do in that area. At this point with most of the wiring done, I decided I won't.
