I bought the pre-molded fairings from Vans to save the effort of making the clay molds for a one time use. These fit ok, but not perfect as expected. I clamped the gear leg fairings to their flying alignment position. Taped the the intersection fairings to them and the wheel pants with vinyl tape (I also waxed the inside of the intersection fairings just in case epoxy got inside). Applied the 2 layers of 9 oz fiberglass/epoxy. That gave me some trouble due to the compound curvature around the leading edges. I will have a lot of finish filling and sanding to do to get them looking nice.
