Brief Description: Main Gear Fairing "Fingers" and Wheel Pants
- Used a heat gun with the hose clamps to mold the fingers to the gear leg. Then I removed the gear fairings and layed up 2 layers of 9 oz fiberglass and epoxy to reinforce the fingers and contour them to the gear legs. Allowing to cure overnight before final sanding.
- Trimmed the main gear wheel pants fore and aft for snug fits. Laid out the attachment screw holes , drilled #40 and clecoed for now. Will install nutplates next.
