Brief Description:  Cabin Frame Construction

- Cut the access holes in the aft F631A channels - Fabricated the various mounting angles shown on DWG39 ( I had previously drawn the angles on the stock material). Sanded and polished the angles & deburred the holes - Used a piece of 3/8" scrap plywood to serve as the flat surface for measuring out the aft 631A assembly. The overall fuselage width was measured at 42 6/16". The F631C brackets are 3/16" thick, meaning the 631A assembly needs to be a total width of 42". The inital assembly was 42 10/16" wide, thus I trimmed 5/16" off of each half where they butt together at the top of the frame. I verified the height of 17 19/32" was correct as well. I polished the edges of the aft F631A's and w/ them clamped to the plywood, centered the F631E joining plate and traced the outline and holes for drilling and clecoing.
