Brief Description: Foreward fuselage prep - side skins
Finished prepping the left Fwd side skin. Deviated from the drawings and dimpled the -4 holes that go into the 704H spar end plate. They should have been left for 470 rivets. Did some research and measured the skin thickness of the 704H. I'm confident I have plenty of material to CS the 704H to accept the dimples and still have approx 0.04" thickness. In addition, there is a spar flange under most of these holes. This would be a much stronger joint than trying to undo the dimples (stretched holes). I started on the right Fwd side skin. Deburred and devinyled.
