Countersunk aileron counterweights to accept leading edge skin dimples. Then, I cleaned the counterweights w/ degreaser, rinsed and dried. Primed them with Rustoleum primer. I had researched the potential for galvanic corrosion between the pipe and the aluminum skin and am comfortable with a coat of primer on the pipe, including the rivet holes. Also, I polished the edges of all the other aileron parts w/ the scotchbrite wheel and removed the vinyl as needed for dimpling.
