Brief Description:  Corrected Left Spar Manufacturing Flaw

(Refer to 3/30/05 entry) After consulting with Van's engineers last week, implemented their recommended solution. Reassembled the left wing skeleton and clecoed on the outer upper and lower skins. Verified the proper alignment and proceeded to drill two new spar to rib flange holes in each 712L interface, for a total of 7 holes per rib. Van's feels this will be sufficient as this connection is meant for alignment, and it is the skins that will carry the bulk of the loading. I will go ahead and use the doubler plates I made as extra structural margin.
