Drilled skeleton and skin to skeleton on left side. Connor helped out with clecoing and drilling! Had some trouble getting a right angle drill onto the HS405 flange to drill through the 702 to 710/714 to 404 nose rib. One hole was somewhat elongated on the 405 side. Should still be able to rivet it ok. Also, found I had removed too much material from the aft flange of HS 404, such that the edge distance to the first hole was only 1/8" (should be at least 3/32"). Called Van's and they (Ken?) said it was ok to proceed as is. Also, mis-drilled one hole in 601PP skin...used the #30 instead of the #40. Will have to OOPS rivet that one!
