I got alot done in a short amount of time today. I have the taiI wheel bracket drilled and clecoed. Then I clecoed the elevator pushrod box sides and cover into place. Now that I finally found my angle drill I will be able to proceed drilling some holes in a few tight spots a regular size drill won't fit. You can see the turtle deck formers set in place. They won't get drilled and riveted just yet. I need to cleco the turtledeck skin in place and then updrill those holes. I will be trying out Tony Spicers method of clecoing the turtle deck formers to the skin and then setting the entire thing in place on the fuselage to prevent me from denting or creasing the top skin. The alumnium is only .020 thick so care must be taken.
The most difficult part of the tail cone assembly is pulling the plastic sheeting off the large skins. :-)
