On Tues. Bill derouchey flew his RV-10 down from Prescott, to look over my project for me. Bills got 250 hrs on his bird, and I asked him to give my plane the fine tooth comb. Good thing we found several items. 1. A loose hose supplying the fuel servo!2. A loose expansion clamp on a heater scat tube. 3. Binding of the ailerons. 4. Problems with the stall warning. 5. Roll servo not functioning. 1, 2, & 3 got fixed as he/we found them. I spent yesterday and today debugging the stall warning. It would only work when the NAV lights were turned on?!? Long story made short after too many trips under the panel upside down. There's a problem with a loose ground on the stall warning buzzer, and the power leads to the Stall warning switch and the Nav light got switched, Sounds simple enough, but I had to open up the side panels, and track wires from the wing tips back to the switches. I've got the wires straightened out now and the stall warning ann Nav lights work as they ought to. I still need to reattach the warning buzzer, and reinstall the closeout panels. Monday i've got Wade coming to do Weight and Balance. Need to pick up some oil before then.
