Installed both of the Comm antennas, and then checked the radios in the cockpit. Everything COM wise seems to be working fine along with the intercom. I picked up a couple of different baggage door seals, One from Aerozona, which was black neoprene, BUT the adhesive strip wouldn't peel off without pulling the adhesive from the rubber, rendering it useless. I also picked up some EDPM from Lowes. It is a double 'bulb'. I split it into a single bulb and then installed on the baggage door. The Baggage door sits a little proud. It will do fro now, I may replace it down the road. I received some 2024 alum sheets from ACS, I'm going to use these to fab some closeout panels for the pilot and copilot fuse sides underneath the panel. I made a paper template, and then transferred it to some upholstery cardbord. I temp mounted the finerglass closeout I previously made, I have a 'joggle' where the fiberglass meets with the cardboard, I've figured out how to blend them together. Tomorrows task. I'm also going to replace the cardboard with the .020 2024 sheets, when I've got the final size and shape nailed down. When they are finished I will upholster them and add a pocket to each side.
