Brief Description:  Sec Final-4

Finally some good news! I got a call from the airport on Wed pm. saying that they had found a hangar for me on the North side of the airport and If I could get moved before the weekend, I would avoid being locked out due to the repaving aroung th eold hangar. I found a friend and rented a U-haul and on thurs we got everything moved from the old to the new hangar, it's not put away or organized yet, but it's in its new /permanent home. I finished the rewiring necessary to install the mid seat rail supports and got the pilot side installed an 1/2 of the co-pilot. My good friend John Cox came down for the weekend for a visit and a trip to Copperstate. After picking him up we spent Fri. at the hangar, and I got an A&P lesson on torquing prop bolts. ("Step-torqued'!). We grabbed some grub w/ Judy and Parker in th epm and then headed off to Copperstate for Saturday. Copperstate is a bit unusuall as there is no air show, and the vendor presence is not as strong as at other shows. There were 4 Rv-10's there including Az's oqn David McNeil, and Bill De Rouchey. Myron Nelson put on an absolutely FABUULOUS Carne Asada BBQ a feed, which we all enjoyed as much as the opportunity to visit with 9-10 builders/pilots that showed up. Myron my hat is off to you! On the way back home we stopped at the hangar and Safety wired the prop bolts using .041" ss safety wire, 9Another A&P lesson at the hands of Master Cox !
