The plan was to have the fuse back from the painter and begin serious final assembly this weekend, But....... Rob's not finished repainting the prop, and it and the fuse won't be back until Mon (??). But I had to make the trip to the hangar and try and do something, so I decided to remount the LED & Strob hardware in the newly painted wing tips. I need to do thi in order to get some measurements so that Rob, can paint a matching border on the lens covers that covers up the mounting flange and the LED& strobe mounting plates. I couldn't resist temp attaching one of the wing tips to a wing (See Picture ). Back At home, I pipcked up a 12V DC power supply and connected it to on of the Op Tech EFIS units, and installed the latest software that I downloaded from their site. I spent a couple of hours beginning to get refamiliar with the new software. There's some major additions to this software version, and some user interface changes.
