Finished the filling and sanding of all of the rivet heads in the aft cabin, Put a fillet between the aft bulkhead and the cabin cover. Next step is to prime it w/ Smooth Prime and sand (ugh!) it prior to paint. I've been thinking about how to finish off the rear seats where the arm rests are. I've decided to make some fiberglass panels that will fit between the longerons and the 'armrest' and between the door jam and the seat back support. I had hoped to wait and do this after flying, BUT.. it's Soooo messy with all of the filling/sanding/ etc/ I figured I might as well get the panels made while I've still got the cabin covered with dust. Attaching th epanels will require I install some nutplates, and I want to do that befor painting. So tomorrows task is to tackle the side panels. The local supplier of Smooth prime won't have any stock until Mon. anyway. So it looks like the actual painting of the interior won't take place until next week.
