Brief Description:  Sec interior-5

I've been sweathing the interior for a LONG time. I've ordered 3 different headliner materials. I was having a problem matching the color to the seat leather colors. I finally found a vinyl locally that is as close a match as I think I'll be able to achieve. the next issue was how to attach it !!! I layed several yards on top of the fuse and cut a piece that would wrap from one door sill to the other. I taped it taut and then cut openings where the doors are being carefull to leave 4-6" extra material. Positioned the rough cut headliner inside the fise and climbed in. I finally had the idea to use some duct tape and wrapped a piece around the midsection of the uppercabin and the headliner, this held a lot of the weight of the headliner up. i decided to work from the mid section towards the front. I used Pliobond, a type of contact cememt I tested earlier. applied a little to the cabin cover and then to the headliner, let it dry a bit and then pres in place. Fortunarelt the Vinyl I got stretches which makes it easy to do the compound curves. Started from the middle forward and then out to each side. It's slo going, but I think its going to look good, just takes some patience.
