Brief Description:  Sec PP-26

Primed the upper fwd fuse after building it up to match the cowl yesterday, I rolled this one with a roller brush, because it was a narrow application, However it leaves too much of a knap and oddly doesn;t distribute the primer as evenly. I think the best application is w/ spreyer even if it does waste more primer. Did the credut card squeege trick before rolling it one, but still took several coats to fill the 'knap inconsistencies. Cleaned up the forward edge with a file. I need to refit the Axel extenders with the ones I got from Full Throttle Concepts (aka Rivethead). initially they were forcasting this was going to be an expensive part but Dave found some Alum stock that reduced the price Significantly. This requred removing the old AN washer that I had floxed to the inside. I ground away all of the flox I xould w Dremel, and then used a heat gun and they popped right off, Then Dremel to clean old flox off. 9Got too agressive on one pant and needed to add layup to reinforce. I had to remove the old Hex extender, and used Gary Specketers 'Jack" to temporarily raise the wheel to get the old on eoff and the new one on. Apparently i'm short a cotter pin, So only got one wheel done today. I
'll pick up a couple of cotter keys tomorrow am and do the next, then mount the rear halves of the wheel ant and flox in the new retainers.
