With the Flox base cured overnight, I sanded that flush with the upper cowl, and then began filling and sanding w/ Metal Glaze. The Flox mix wa a little dry so there were several voids in the surfae even after sanding. Generated a lot of dust again, but that's what happens in this stage. I'm glad I did this , even though it will 'hide' the rivets and willl lokk loke a Glass plane on the upper portion of the fuse, the aesthetic improvement in the forward portion of the plane is well worth it! It's 103 today, so work occurred is several intervals with dashes indoors for cooling and hydrating. Tomorrow, I'll pop the upper cowl off and true up the edges where they were joined and then apply some Smooth Prime to the upper fuse and reapply to the cowl where it got sanded during the filling/blending.
