A minor milestone reached today. finished priming and sanding the cabin cover!!!!! Horray!!!! Finished off the Left door jam, after 3 more coats sprayed on. Both jams sanded w/ 320 grit. the windscreen is sprayed and sanded. some minor touch up around the windscreen and a couple of places on the top of the cabin cover for tomorrow. The peelable window covering that I applied has just about lost it's usefulness, both of the rear interiro windows have 'peeled' by them selves and are off. Half of the interior of the windscreen is also 'peeling'. Tomorrow I'll give the inside of the plane a MUCH needed cleaning and then I'll probably pull the fineline tapes and the exterior covering and see how well the edges are looking and do any cleanup necessary. I picked up some stretchable painters mask (18" x 36') that appears to be similar to what Van's puts on the windows when they ship. I think I'll reapply that for some measure of protection.
