Worked on the left door today, filling and sanding, th etwo bottow corners require some filling and they are not easy to sand. Filled and sanded the fwd and aft edges of the door jam about 3/4 of the way up. I needed to build up the bottom of the door to match with the fuse so I needed to keep the hinges attached until that was finished. I also needed to add some filler on the upper fwd fuse at the point where it mates with the forrward bottom of the door to make those two area flush. i applied some duct tape to the forward edge of the door and then did the build up on the fwd fuse. That doen, I did the same i.e. used duct tape on the fuse door sill and then did some filler build-ups on the bottom of the door to make everything flush. Tomorrow I'll take the doors off and finish filling/blending the hinge pockets on the left door. Good news, I got a call from a driver this am saying he had my prop to deliver. He was here in 15 minutes. They really had it well boxed. I was worried of the paint would be Ok as we went back and forth several times truing to get the design right, but its A THING OF BEAUTY !!!!! If it flies half as good as it looks I'll be happy!!!! For now it goes back in the casita w the other parts waiting final assembly.
