Began the door jams, at least the Left door jam. The door jams are taking a lot longer than I expected, All of the sanding needs to be done by hand, and they require several iterations of filler application. I was tired of waiting on the filler to cure, so I mixed up some Smoothe Prime for one of the doors. I 1st ran a new fineline tape around the window to give a little depth for the primer to buildup. I used a 3" roller that I picked up the other day, It's easier in this case to use the roller. I mixed up 4 oz and had way too much so while I was aiting for the 1st coat to dry, I masked of a part of the aft fuse and applied some primer to tht area, There are numerous pinholes, so I fetched the credit card and squeeged the primer into the pinholes and voids.i pretty much went back and forth all day between the door jam, the door and the aft fuse. At least I'm getting a little diversity. Looks like this rountine will carry on at leat throughout the week and possible into next week.
Lower portion of Left door jam filled and sanded.
2 coats of Primer reapplied to left door (and sanded
Right aft fuse section getting initial coats of primer.
