Cowl FINISHED ---- FINALLY !!!!!!! Decided to apply anothe full coat to the entire cowl. There were too many places where it was just too thin. Only this time I think it got the consistency of the primer much better for spraying. the area around the Ram air intake took a long time, I 1st had to fill some low spots w/ filler to clean up some tooling/mold marks. then hand sand the contours, there's not a lot of room and my fat hands didin't fit very well. after the initial sanding there was too much area left unprimed, so ...... I hand painted a very think coat arounf the opening and let it dry and then repeated the entire process. There's still some un primed areas, BUT, I'm declaring this DONE!!!!! I sanded the entire cowl w/ 220 grit and then again w/ 320. And then For the first time in weeks moved everything out of the garage and gave it a good hosing down. Judy will appreciate not haveing the dust finding it's way in the house (at least for a few days)
