Finished the sanding the spinner w/ 220 and 320 grit. Only thing left on the Spinner is to finish priming and sanding the backing plates. Got one coat of primer applied to them and sanded, One more tomorrow. Earlier in the day I repaired the gaps in the intake ring retainer, by building some clay dams and pouring in some Epoxy/Flox.Cabosil mixture. Shot 3 heavy coats of Smooth Prime on the upper Cowl. I thought that after sanding that there were very few pinholes in the upper Cowl, Boy was I Wrong!!! this thing is covered with them, I ended up squeezing a lot of the wet mixture sparyed on into as many of the holes as I could. I probably got 80 % of them, After it had a chance to dry fully, I sanded one half of the upper cowl w/ 100 grit, I'll finish sanding tomorrow than spray on an additional coat and squeegy the remaining pinholes. should also get started ont he lower cowl tomorrow. Hoepfull I will be able to wrap this Spinner/Cowl buisness up by the end of the week.
