Manual Reference:  Sec 47-finishing1
Brief Description:  Sec 47-Finishing Step 1

Began today by sanding the glass lay-ups of the rivet lines from ysterday and the flox around the inlet rings. Temoprarily coupled the upper and lower halvres together to determine where some filling needed to be done. Basically along the horizontal seams and accros the front on the lower cowl. I completely sanded the uper cowl w/ 100 grit preparatory to priming, I was suprrised at how few pinholes there actually were in the upper cowl !!!! Good work Will James !. Then taped the upper horizontal edge w/ duct tape (release). Rejoined the halves and applied Epoxy/Cabosil/Flox by squeeging it betwen the horizontal seams. The CamLocs arrived today so I can complete the installation of the Oil door and get it faired in flush. I'm going to head to Las Vegas to meet some old frineds from our home in No. Cal for a basketball tourney. so Priming probably won't happen until next week.
